Big C. Little Me. is officially award winning!! I had such a fab night out at the Northern Blog Awards on Saturday and to take home the trophy for the ‘Something Different’ category was the icing on the cake. Without wanting to go all ‘Oscar winner’ on you I’d like to say a few thank you’s.

Thank you

Thanks to everyone who took the time to vote for Big C. Little Me. to win. I so appreciate all the support. Thank you to everyone who’s bothered to read my ramblings on here! Thank you to all of you who’ve sent me messages, it’s no understatement to say they’ve helped to get me through the treatment and will continue to do so through the next course of chemo that starts in a few weeks.

A big thank you to my number one supporter – my husband Steve who I couldn’t have done any of this without.  He helped me to set up Big C. Little Me. and has given me the confidence to keep writing it.  Thank you to all my family and friends who’ve shared the blogs and encouraged me to write more.

The inaugural NBAs 2017 was such an amazing event.  Brilliantly organised by the wonderful Holly Wood, I was blown away by the attention to detail on the night.

Now for my #GlamSquad – Thank you so much to my favourite designer Caroline Castigliano for the ‘Tango’ evening gown, I never thought I could wear strapless after my mastectomy but her amazing tailoring and corsetry made me feel so secure and like a million dollars on the night.  I’ve never had so many compliments on a dress!  Thanks to my lovely friend Lynette Page for my gorgeous makeup and for going above and beyond the call of duty by getting me into the dress! Thank you to the team at Paxman Scalp Cooling whose brilliant cold cap and patient advice on chemo hair care meant that just 3 months after finishing some pretty brutal chemo I was able to have my newly highlighted hair blow dried and styled and feeling super swishy for my big night out!

Here are all the pictures from the night! (All official photos are courtesy of Carl Sukonik @thevainphotos)
